At the cave office on the main square, you can purchase beautiful souvenirs. A special highlight we offer is the "Höhlenschmankerl." These are local products related to the Obir Dripstone Cave. Such a gift is sure to delight everyone.

Höhlenschmankerl

The temperature in the Obir Dripstone Caves is a constant +8°C throughout the year, the air is dust- and germ-free, the humidity is 80–90%, and there is natural ventilation. These are ideal conditions for maturing our "Obir-Schmankalan" in collaboration with our partners in the caves.

The Obir Dripstone Cave specialties are high-quality Carinthian products.

Höhlen Bier – Murauer Brewery

Brewed naturally according to the purity law of 1516, the production of Höhlenbier uses high-quality raw materials from controlled contract farming. Murauer Brewery proudly represents this brand—standing for the highest quality food products from Carinthia, made with the best raw materials and the utmost care in processing. The beer is available in 6-packs.

Höhlenschokolade from Craigher's Confectionery

Mr. Craigher's love for chocolate inspired him to create his own small chocolate factory. Each piece is handcrafted with care, making it unique. The chocolates are of outstanding quality—thanks to the best ingredients and a freshness that can only be achieved through homemade, handcrafted production. Currently available: almond brittle & hazelnut nougat.

Höhlenlikör from Coppla Kaša

The blackcurrant and walnut liqueurs from Coppla Kaša (Association of Vellachtal Mountain Farmers) are made from fruits and berries harvested in the side valleys of Bad Eisenkappel. The fruits used for the distillates are sourced from extensive orchards, which are maintained and thus help to preserve the landscape.

Höhlenschinken, Höhlenspeck, and Höhlenwurst from "Zum Florian" Tavern

This fine pork ham is cured for eight weeks, refined with hand-crushed spices, and then air-dried to perfection in the Obir tunnels. The Obir-Stollenschinken matures at a constant temperature and humidity at a depth of 500 meters! The well-known and popular Carinthian dry sausage and Carinthian bacon also mature and dry in the Obir tunnels.

Höhlensalami

Höhlensalami from regional suppliers. We prioritize good, local quality. Only cattle and pigs from the Jauntal are purchased and processed. The Höhlensalami gains its special flavor from selected spices and a 6-month maturation in the Obir caves. A rare delicacy!
