The cave is cool all year round, with constant temperatures of 8°C. It's best to bring a warm jacket or sweater. Sturdy footwear is also recommended, as the ground can be slippery. Please avoid flip-flops, as entry with them will be denied for safety reasons. Jackets and the mandatory helmet can also be rented on-site.
Unfortunately, the Obir Dripstone Caves are not accessible. There are narrow passages and many stairs, making it difficult for individuals with mobility impairments to access the caves.
Reservations are necessary because the number of participants is limited both in the shuttle bus and per tour. You can make a reservation by phone or online through the Obir Dripstone Caves website. Without a reservation, a visit cannot be guaranteed.
Please pick up your reserved ticket at the ticket office at least 15 minutes earlier, or your reservation will be forfeited!
If all spots are fully booked according to the online reservation system, it's worth giving us a call to inquire about available spots. Last-minute openings are often still available, and sometimes cancellations free up spots that can be booked by phone. These remaining spots and last-minute availabilities are not released for online reservation, so please inquire by phone.

However, there are several parking areas near the Obir Dripstone Caves visitor center. Look out for the parking symbols (Parking Area) as you drive into town. Helpful and detailed information can be found on the "Arrival and Parking" page.
